OK, so... I figured I would upgrade the CoT forums as well as the Assembly forums, but something went very, very wrong, and now it's all royally fucked up. I don't even know what it is. In 7 hours, I'm going on vacation, so I can't even fix it.
I did do a backup of the database, but nothing I did would upgrade the forum software without critical errors and database fuck-ups and all kinds of shit. The support forums is full of nerds who don't speak human, and I am so stressed out and angry, I really can't give this more time before I leave on holiday. I did a fresh install, and put the forum in maintenance mode. I would HATE to lose nearly 10 000 posts and 7 years worth of content on those forums, but I don't know what to do.
When I come back, I'll have a look at things and see if I can figure something out. Or rather, I'll ask someone else to do it.
In the meantime, please tell anyone who asks about the CoT forums that they'll be up soon, hopefully.
